Incidents that happen during a trip with your family

Three years ago, my father and I went to Atacames beach. He had never gone to a beach and he was excited about the trip. I used to go to Atacames every month for work and I decided to travel with my father. Then, I organized all things, especially who had to prepare food for him. It was his first time at the beach, and I wanted to give him the best experience of the place. 

When we arrived at the first place where my father could see the beach, he said it is wonderful, but we could not stay long because I had a work meeting that finished at night. However, he went without me and tasted different dishes such ceviche, shrimp, and juice. He looked sad and happy at the same time that night and I asked that what happened to him. 

He told me that the food was extremely delicious and he wanted to go to the beach and swim but the day has finished and I was very tired. Finally, I said tomorrow early we are going to go to the beach. It was my promise.

Early in the morning, we went to swim and my father enjoyed  the sunrise. Unfortunately, a thief took the money that my father had carried to buy handicrafts. I forgot to tell my father that the place was dangerous. 

I learned that my intention was good but it was not the best choice because if I wanted to give my father a gift I had to explain everything about the place where we went. He enjoyed the place and the seafood but I had to work, so we did not share time together. 

I bought the best food but I did not share my time with him. He understood that I am a busy woman but I can give my best. Then, I decided to go on another trip where I do not have to work. This trip is going to be only for enjoying and not for working.
