UNIQUE MOMENTS This picture is so important to my mother. We were in the Plaza Grande North of Quito, Ecuador. It was Christmas day 1993. That day was the first time that we could take a walk. We were very elegant with the best and unique outfit that we had for taking a walk. For that important day, my parents had saved a little money. My father was 28 years old and my mother was 23 years old. My sister was 2 years old and I was 5 years old. We ate guatita which is Quiteña traditional food but we ate in a kiosk on the street because is cheaper. After that, we went to Plaza Grande to take the photo. My mother did not want that we get our new clothes dirty but my sister and I wanted to play all time. Then, when we were ready, the photo was taken but I had closed my eyes at that moment. That happened because the best thing I wanted to do was play. My mother was so happy and very busy with us that she hadn't looked at that mistake in the photo until we got home. My mothe...
